Roberto De
Francesco (Caserta,
1964) performs in cinema,
theater and television. He has worked with Toni Servillo, Mario
Martone, Carlo Cecchi,
Giuseppe Piccioni, Stefano Incerti, Francesco Calogero, Tonino De
Bernardi, Pasquale
Pozzessere, Daniele
Luchetti,
Riccardo Milani and Nanni
Moretti, among others. He is the author of the subject and the
screenplay of
the film Il Tuffo (Massimo
Martella, Best first work at Venice in 1993). He has directed two
shorts, L'Amico
(first place at Cinema Giovani Festival in
1994) and Pugni
nell'aria (which competed at
Venice in 1999).
