"The film is divided into chapters. The Caesarean Section is to say that the woman had had the baby through Caesarean section. The Last of the Warriors is to show that it is dealing with art, love, and revolution in the boys life and not with my personal attitude. (At the same time he sees the revolution like artists see it, with extreme naiveté.) At a certain point the film strikes out against electroshock treatment. And this section is entitled The Ophidian CircIe (that is to say the circle of the family of serpents) to show the vicious circle that psychiatry employs against itself. The Disenchanted Forests chapter evokes the romantic film that every director would like to make with many resources, realizing all the while that this would perhaps be less successful than a simple ships log of the life of a couple..."
