The news report of the death of his brother puts Andrea into a state of sharp pain and anguish. Andrea is an artist and designer and his anguish continues along, nourished by his unexpected sense of guilt. In fact, Andrea had not returned to his home town for months to visit his ailing brother and to console his family. Now he is coldly alone and facing himself. He has to leave and go through the funeral, death... Not even Anna, his woman companion, can be particularly helpful. He could be helped only by his creativity and his inner world, which have not ever called on him to face external reality courageously.

Paolo Franchi Gandolfi
Paolo Franchi Gandolfi (Bergamo, 1969) attended the Ipotesi Cinema school directed by Ermanno 01mi in 1989. He directed a video and then attended screenwriting and directing courses held by Nanni Loy, Giorgio Arlorio, Mauro Bolognini and others in Rome. In 1992 he won a contest as student director at the Centro Sperimentale di Clnematografia. In addition, he worked as assistant director for many public service commercials.
