A silent film shot in a week in Bavaria. A man, a woman and their child. Dream revelation, the crystallization of the memory as a possible form of the objectification of Freudian reality. A child catalyzes his Oedipal awareness by means of a chemical hallucinogen which does to the imagination what a developing agent does to film. Philippe Garrel
Philippe Garrel was born in Boulogne-Billancourt in 1948. He made his first short, Les enfants désaccordés, in 1964 at the age of 16 and quickly stood out for his radical approach to the cinema.
