12° FESTIVAL INTERNAZIONALE CINEMA GIOVANI
Italian Competition 1994 - Non Fiction
LUIGI E BRUNA
by Andrea Serafini
Luigi and Bruna Soffietto are a by-now old couple who live in an isolated country house in the mountains that divide France from Italy. They were born and raised in the areas where they now live. They have never moved and intend to remain in their house as long as they are able to provide for their own needs. The film aims to be a portrait of these two mountain people, their values, and their way of life, which may seem very hard to many but which they would never exchange for city life.
