NON SI DIA LA COLPA A NESSUNO

NOBODY'S TO BLAME

Country: Italy
Year: 1994
Duration: 24'

"Nobody's To Blame is a video made as if it were a film. 24 minute length. Fiction. Tv mirror shots. Formulaic actions. Voiceovers. Some live shooting. A film like a daytoday diary of three killers, a tired detective, and his energetic secretary. A film noir as a love story relived in a flashback that is as quick and dreamy as the passing of a train in the night. All this, and more a sensuous look, a bottle of vintage Barbaresco, stalking, gratuitous killings, and a final shootout. A film made without any exact screenplay, made out of notes taken while shooting. Most of the shots made by a handheld camera. A kind of nightmarememory of an impossible love and of an nonexisting trip into an imaginary Southwest." (Francesco Ballo).
