Portrait d'une jeune fille de la fin des années 60 à Bruxelles

On this particular Wednesday in April, 1968, Michèle, 15 years old, decides she's never going to set foot school again. She goes to the movies. While watching a film, the person sitting to her left begins rubbing her knee. It's Paul, a sexy young man of 20, who, on leave from army boot camp, has decided never to go back, either Michèle, with her young deserter, stroll around Brussels, looking for a place to make love. For her, it will be the first time. Like her best friend from school Danielle, she had been happy simply to kiss boys who wanted her on the lips. Until today. Now, she's giving her entire body for her first time. Ws six o'clock. Michèle is waiting outside school for Danielle to come out in order to tell her about her experience,- maybe. But Danielle is late for a party organized by one of the girls in class. Michèle agrees to go with her because she knows that Paul will be waiting, and watching her, from the other side of the street that night. At the party, Michèle asks Danielle to dance, in order to tell her this story, once again, maybe. Finally, when they leave the party, Michèle points out the shadow of her young deserter waiting on the sidewalk across the street. Michèle whispers, "he is for you Danielle, go to him. Go for me because he is clearly the man of your life. I knew it instantly".
