Jean-Pierre Marois

Jean-Pierre Marois (July 2, 1963) was born and raised in Paris. He worked as assistant in the making of Jacques Deray's Le marginal. He then completed his liberal arts studies. In 1987 he became a photographer and did work for numerous magazines in Europe and the United States, such as "Photo", "Le Figaro Magazine", "Vogue Homme", "Lui", "Max", "Elle", "Cosmopolitan", "Mode", and "Studio". His work includes portraits of different public figures. In 1992 he participated in the exhibit, "Cinema et Liberté" put on at the Fnac Gallery, During the 1993 Cannes Festival, he participated in the exhibit, "Cinéma against AIDS." In 1992 he was the first assistant to Spike Lee in his music video, State of Art. In 1993 he produced Spike Lee's clip F.F.F.
