Year: 1994
Duration: 90'

A Hong Kong resident, Shum chi-hung, formed an armed robbery gang in China. Having committed several robberies and murdered a Public Security Bureau officer, Shum equipped the gang with heavy weapons and sneaked them into Hong Kong. After an explosive and gun battling robbery on a mah-jong school, the gang was targetted and a rock'n'roll fever detective, Allen Hung, was send to Shenzhen to liaise wíth PBS officers and assist them in the gang hunting. A captain of PBS Shenzhen, Huang, worked with Hung. Huang was shocked to discover a concubine of the gang leader to be his en-fiancee, Yu how-yee. In a short and embarassing reunion, Yu decided to help Huang in trapping Shum but she was killed by Shum subsequent to his arrest. When Shum was repatriated to Hong Kong for trial, the repatriation convoy was rescued by fugitives of the gang. Huang took the risk to cross the border and rescued Hung but police at the border arrest him for killing the gangsters in Hong Kong territory. Eventually the Border Police Commander released Huang back to the other side of Shenzhen River.
