A boy rides a bicycle along a straight road that crosses through the countryside, a fiat plain. At regular intervals of time he crosses three characters, who have been knocked about in various ways. They are going down the same road, but in the opposite direction. He gets more and more worried. After he passes the last injured character, he turns around to look at him....

Werther Germondari

Werther Germondari (Rimini, 1963) studied at the Experimental Center in Rome and at DAMS at Bologna. He has worked in film as director and cinematographer and also worked in the field of plastic arts. In his one-man and joint shows in the plastic arts, graphic works may be present, but they may be accompanied by extreme esthetic positions, conveyed through speeches, happenings, and performances. From 1985 to 1987 he has attended Tonino Guerra's Screenwriting Workshop. In the 1980's he made numerous Super8 films appearing in various festivals. Between 1994 and 1996 he made four 35mm short films.

Maria Luisa Spagnoli

Maria Luisa Spagnoli (Amelia, Terni; 1960) graduated the university in liberal arts and then enrolled at DAMS, Bologna. She collaborated in the staging of several operas as assistant director. She attended a workshop in directing given by Nanni Loy. She began her collaboration with Werther Germondari when they co-authored a play in 1988.
