Nami Tsuchiya - which is the name of all the female main characters in Ishii's films - is the wife of a policeman who has just accepted a very risky assignment - to infiltrate into a gang of drug dealers in order to break up a vast trafficking in drugs. After her husbands corpse is fished cut of the sea, Nami is visited by the criminals who rape her repeatedly in reprisal. Nami tries to kill lkejima, the head of the gang, with a knife, but is stopped by Muraki, his yakuza lieutenant, who - for reasons unknown - seems to want to take the woman under his protection. When Nami tries to commit suicide, Muraki stops her. Nami then pretends she is a prostitute to get close to lkejima, who fall's for her and makes her his mistress. Nami tolerates all the humiliations that lkejima puts her through until the day that she tries to kill him in his sleep. When she is found out, she is sold to a bordello outside the city, where Muraki finds her. By now she is completely involved in drugs and vice. Not only does Muraki help her patiently to get off of drugs, but he also agrees to help her get revenge and prepares a trap for lkejima. But the final confrontation between the three on the roof of a building that overlooks Tokyo is bound to hold many surprises.

Ishii Takashi
Born in Sendai, 1954, Ishii Takashi started his career as a cartoonist when he was a student at Waseda University. He entered the film world in 1978, when he was given the task of adapting his own cartoons to the cinema. He then embarked on a number of projects, most importantly his "Roman Porno" (romantic soft-core very much in vogue in the seventies) for Nikkatsu. He got into directing films in 1988.
