BUSH MAMA

Dorothy lives on welfare in Watts, Los Angeles and struggles to give a decent upbringing to her daughter in surroundings of abject poverty. Her husband is jailed for a crime he did not commit and the social worker threatens to take away her as yet unborn baby. Dorothy has to fight the system.
