This film is inspired by the experiences of Angela Davis and the Black Power movement of the 1960's. It is the story of the transformation of a woman who awakens to the inequality that exists in her society and who joins the fight for social justice. Imprisoned for her ideas, the woman expresses the dreams, the fantasies, and the fears which tie her to her people.
