Francesco Apolloni
Francesco Apolloni (Monterotondo, Rome; 1968) is a writer, stage and screen director, and actor. He has written and acted in various stage plays. In film he has worked with Gianni Amelio as assistant director for Il ladro di bambini and with Paolo Virzi as co-screenwriter for Una questione privata. He wrote and directed the Raidue television movie, Animali a sangue freddo. His short film Leonard Street won the Golden Sacher for the best actor and actress at the 1998 Sacher Festival and competed in the 1998 Location Festival.
