Ahmad Abu Zeid

Ahmad Abu Zeid was born in Alexandria, Egypt, in 1967. After graduating in Mass Communications from the University of Cairo, he worked as director's assistant on numerous television and cinematographic productions. In 1992 he graduated from the Center of Media Arts of New York, and also received a degree in directing from New York University. In 1993 he wrote and directed Invalid Dreams, about the life of Egyptian emigrants in New York. Since 1996 he is a director for Egyptian television.
