Harvard University has a very special student, Cindy Bandolini, who is the forbidden dream of most of the guys on campus. Cindy is a cheerleader, she is beautiful, very rich, and above all, charismatic. Her father is a gangster boss and Cindy knows how to manipulate men. Alan Jensen, a philosophy major, is the captain of the basketball team. Cindy, who has decided to organize a million-dollar illegal betting racket, convinces him to rig the games. But the FBI starts to investigate.

James Toback

James Toback was born in 1946. He graduated from Harvard University and taught at the City College of New York. He worked as a reporter for magazines such as "Esquire", "Harpers", "Dissent", and "Commentary". In 1974 he debuted as a feature film screenwriter with The Gambler, directed by Karel Reisz. He won an Oscar nomination in 1991 for his screenplay for Bugsy, directed by Warren Beatty. His first film as a director was Fingers, starring Harvey Keitel. His documentary, The Big Bang, won him an Oscar in 1989.
