A long conversation between two marginalized characters, a knife grinder who can't bear the memories of the horrors of his past and an adolescent girl who lives on the streets and tries to get by any way she can. He never stops talking, becoming almost unbearable; she remains silent, closed within her desperation.
"Keeping in mind the age difference which separates the two people, this couple represents the continuity of Argentina's recent history, where political repression and social marginalization unite over time, creating a unique system of injustice" (Ana Poliak).
