The film is composed of two middle-length films - The Rape of the Vampire and The Queen of the Vampires. A psychoanalyst accompanied by two friends tries to help three sisters who have gone mad in the aftermath of a collective rape. The villagers consider the three young sisters dangerous vampires. The setting changes to a clinic where horrible actions are committed. A doctor discovers the secret of the vampires and arranges for them to be surprised and exterminated during a black mass.

Jean Rollin

Jean Michel Rollin Le Gentil was born in 1938 in Neuilly-sur-Seine near Paris. The first film that he directed was Ciel de cuivre (1959) and he soon dedicated himself to the horror genre, beginning with Le Viol du vampire (1967). In the 1970s he made a series of vampire films and, under the pseudonym Michel Gentil, several hard-core pornographic films. Today he is considered a cult director both in Europe and the United States.
