This film recounts the choral nature of the persons and places that represent the work of Silvio Soldini. It begins with the months spent working on his latest film, Brucio nel vento. We go over the steps that have marked Soldini's films and the lives of the people who have participated in them from 1982 to the end of the summer of 2001.These voices draw out for us the idea of a different way of making movies.

Giuseppe Baresi
Giuseppe Baresi (Milan, 1960) has been working since 1982 as director and cinematographer. He worked with Studio Azzurro until 1986. He worked as cinematographer for the documentaries produced by the school of architecture of the Milan Polytechnic University. His Questo radichio non si toca was screened in the Italian Spotting section of the 1998 Torino Film Festival.

Giorgio Garini
Giorgio Garini (Milan, 1961) first worked as assistant director for almost all of Silvio Soldini's films, produced by Monogatari, the production house that he had co-founded with Soldini himself. At the same time he was always active as a documentary filmmaker.
