Two tragic-comic, parallel stories that take place in a university and a high school, yesterday and today. Following the lives of its young main characters, precariously balanced between hope and despair, the film talks about sex, racial problems, fame and exploitation. These are the stories of an aspiring writer and his girlfriend, an author, a director of documentaries and many others. Solandz made this film in response to criticism he received about his preceding works. Storytelling is a film about the idea of stories, both fiction and non-fiction.
