A country road in the Balkans. A bus with seven people aboard is heading towards the border. One of the passengers is Alek, a young man who was recently released from a prison camp. Elena, the bus driver, picked him along the road. Alek would like to use the toilet, but it is occupied. He waits a while, but to no avail. The young man starts to become nervous and transmits his nervousness to the other passengers.

"During the NATO bombing raids in 1990, the myth was born of a bus which traveled from Skopje to Belgrade every day. In Veta there is a similar bus, but we aren't referring to that story. This is just my answer to the horrors which have occurred in the Balkans over the last 10 years" (Teona Strugar Mitveska).
