Jules Stewart
Jules Stewart worked for over thirty years as a script supervisor in Hollywood, for both major productions and independent projects, as well as for numerous TV series. In particular, she has collaborated with people like Micky Moore, Brian Levant, David Lynch and David E. Kelley. The mother of actress Kristen Stewart, in 2010 she and Tom Wright founded the production company Libertine Films, for which she is now developing the screenplay of Locked House, which she will direct. K11 is her debut film as director.

“Casting for me was probably the scariest part of the process, because it’s ninety-nine point nine percent of the movie. Kate Del Castillo, who played Mousey, was the first person I casted. [...] D.B. Sweeney came to my office and wanted the role of Johnson. Things started to come together. And I am very happy. I was very careful to find people who are not afraid of this material. Because if you’re afraid of the material, you hold back, and you won’t give a great performance. And they did a great performance. I love my cast.”
