CLARA SE PIERDE EN EL BOSQUE

CLARA GETS LOST IN THE WOODS
by Camila Fabbri
Country: Argentina
Year: 2023
Duration: 86'

Clara leaves the city on a family trip to the countryside. She receives a message from Martina, her childhood friend with whom she was in República Cromañón the night of the tragedy, which brings the idea of motherhood to the fore. From this shot of the present and reality, through WhatsApp audios, home videos and family lunches, an exhaustive review of her own adolescence and that of her friends is unleashed in a city devastated by the crisis and by a tragedy that left behind a lesson: that, hearing live music and being very young, would not make them immortal.

Declaration

film director

“Clara Gets Lost in the Woods is a film with a hybrid format between fiction and documentary. After a trip to a landscape that is far away from the city, Clara starts a conversation through Whatsapp audios with her friend Martina about their past as fans of Argentine rock ‘n’ roll. In that journey a spark of present appears that has to do with the desire to be mothers, with the shy but irrepressible desire of the new generations to be produced, then, the new generations.”
