Barbet Schroeder portrays his friend Ricardo Cavallo, who devotes his life to painting. From Buenos Aires to Finistère, via Paris, this film is an invitation to dive into the history of painting but also to discover the life of this man who, with simplicity and humility, has always been fully committed, even to the point of passing on his passion to the children of his village.
