DAY 6 – Wednesday, November 29th

The sixth day of the Festival, Wednesday 29 November, had many films, guests and appointments.

Morning of press conferences, including that of the Virna Lisi Award: established 7 years ago by the actress’ family, it is awarded every year to a protagonist of Italian cinema.

Meanwhile. in the cinemas, the public attended many screenings, often introduced or followed by the speeches of those who took part in their production.

Highlights of the day: Mario Martone at the Gallerie d’Italia, who talked about his docufilm Un ritratto in movimento. Omaggio a Mimmo Jodice (premiered at the 41TFF), and the ceremony for the awarding of the Virna Lisi Prize to Greta Scarano, together with the Young Revelation Award to Romana Maggiora Vergano.
