Lesley Selander

(Los Angeles, 1900-Los Alamitos, 1979) è stato un regista hollywoodiano specializzato soprattutto in western (dal 1936 al 1968 ne ha diretti 107) e film d’avventura. La sua carriera da regista conta 127 lungometraggi e dozzine di episodi per la televisione. È stato assistente alla regia in film come The Cat and the Fiddle (1934), Una notte all’opera (1935) e Furia di Fritz Lang (1936). Nel 1956 ha ottenuto una nomination ai premi della Directors Guild of America per la miglior regia di un episodio televisivo, grazie alla serie Lassie, 1954.
